Draft vs Auto-Publish
Draft mode is the default for all new sites. When an article finishes generation, it lands in the Review Queue with a preview link, word count, and confidence score. Editors can approve, request a rewrite, or discard the article. Approved articles are pushed to your connected CMS or webhook immediately. This mode is recommended for teams that want editorial control, especially during the first 30 days of using InkieAI.
Auto-publish bypasses the Review Queue entirely. Once an article passes the internal quality gate, it is sent to your configured endpoint within 60 seconds. Quality gates check for minimum word count, factual consistency markers, and brand voice alignment. You can tune gate strictness in Site Settings. Auto-publish is best for mature sites with well-tested brand summaries and high publishing velocity targets.
You can mix modes using per-article overrides or schedule-based rules. For example, you might auto-publish during weekdays but require review for weekend runs. Mode changes take effect on the next scheduled run and do not retroactively affect articles already in the queue.
