We collect account information (email, name) through Clerk authentication, site configuration data (domains, brand descriptions, topic seeds), and generated content (articles, images). We do not collect payment information directly — all billing is handled by Polar.

2. How We Use Information

We use your data to provide the Service: generating articles, publishing to your connected sites, and sending transactional emails. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Neon PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest. Generated content is stored indefinitely unless you delete it. Account data is retained for 30 days after account deletion.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Clerk for authentication, Polar for billing, Trigger.dev for background jobs, and OpenRouter for AI model access. Each has their own privacy policy and security practices.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk) and analytics (PostHog). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@inkieai.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted database connections, and secure API key storage. However, no system is 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
